What they needed

Magicman is a nationwide surface repair company with technicians operating across most major UK cities. Their previous website was built on an outdated theme with poor URL structure, thin content, and no marketing automation. The site was underperforming in search, generating low-quality leads, and the team had no systematic way to nurture prospects or manage campaigns.They needed a partner who could rebuild the website from the ground up, implement a proper SEO strategy, and establish a marketing function that would scale with the business.

How we solved it

We developed a custom WordPress theme from scratch - no page builders, no bloated plugins. The entire URL structure was redesigned with SEO in mind, creating location-based landing pages for every city where Magicman operates, each with unique content optimised for local search terms.Technical SEO was built into the architecture from day one: JSON-LD structured data for local business schema on every location page, optimised sitemaps, canonical tags, and a content hierarchy designed for both users and crawlers. We implemented server-side caching with Nginx and Redis for sub-2-second load times across the board.Automated MarketingBeyond the website, we set up a complete email marketing automation pipeline using Mautic and n8n. Lead capture forms on the site feed directly into segmented email sequences - new enquiries receive automated follow-ups, dormant leads get re-engagement campaigns, and the team receives qualified lead notifications in real time. No manual data entry, no leads falling through the cracks.AI-Assisted Content & ToolingWe introduced AI-assisted workflows for content creation, meta description generation, and structured data validation. Claude Code was used throughout the build process for code review, testing, and documentation - accelerating delivery without compromising quality.PPC & Paid AdvertisingAlongside the organic strategy, we set up and managed Google Ads campaigns with landing pages specifically designed for conversion. Custom tracking was implemented to measure cost-per-lead and return on ad spend across all channels.
